Towne Lake has started selling homes on their new 60′ lot section with new builders Plantation Homes and Ryland Homes.  These homes should be in the 2000 – 3500 sqft range and start in the $220s.

This will bring the total number of single family builders up to six in Towne Lake when added to the current builder line-up of Coventry, David Weekley, Newmark, and Trendmaker.

This announcement is also significant because it drops the starting price to get into Towne Lake by $50k.  Previously, the least expensive houses were on 70′ lots and started in the $270k range.  This will give those buyers with budgets the < $250k range another option for new houses in the area in addition to Bridgeland and Cypress Creek Lakes.

This new 60′ section is on the corner of Tuckerton & Greenhouse Road and is directly across Tuckerton from Rennell Elementary School.
